Sunday Parade throught the two of Niagara on the Lake Ontario Canada. On May 25/27 1813 Newark, or as it is now known as Niagara on the Lake. Was the site of a blood encounter between British troops defending the the Niagara Region and American troops trying to seize Upper Canada, Ontario, from British control. With the battle lost British forces pulled back to Burlington Heights, Hamilton Ontario. Closely followed by American forces under the command of American Brig Gen’s Winder and Chandler. British and American Armies fought a bloody night action which resulted in forcing the retreat of American troops back to the Niagara Region.
