A beautiful Saturday morning started with us getting up early and heading to the border.
This was the first time across the border for us in almost 10 years. Why so long.?? Money was the main issue and then the issue of passports which came back to money. Did we really want to spend the money for passports on the off chance that we would head to the states. The reason finally presented itself. A son of friends of ours was getting married. Well, two things went through my mind. We have a reason to go see them and think of the pictures we can take.
So he we are, finally across the border and heading to a glorious afternoon wedding of two wonderful young people. Now we have known Bryan since he was a babe in his mother’s arms. Mary we have yet to have the pleasure of meeting (but from what I had heard she was special). We arrive finally at the church for the wedding. The sun is high in the sky, the flowers are blooming and Bryan has a smile on his face that says “I am the happiest guy alive”. Well that starts my camera clicking. Then we find the rest of the family huddling together awaiting the time to enter the church. The church itself is a stone church and absolutely stunning. We head into the church to get a look around. To be fair, my indoor pictures don’t turn out nearly as well as my outdoor pics but I was determined to get some good ones. The service was beautiful. The wedding party looked fabulous and the smiles on the faces of everyone there, told me that these two people were truly meant to be together.
Then came my fun. Starting snapping pictures outside. The colors are beautiful. The textures are great and everyone was so much fun to work with. Had a blast taking these photographs.
So on that note I will say. Thank you for checking them out. Enjoy!!! I certainly enjoyed taking them.
Then of course, there is always that dapper young man, who just itches to have his picture taken.
